Lacy Sweater

After months of sitting in the finishing basket, the Lacy sweater is finally complete.
HPIM1444.JPG

The pattern is from Zoe Mellor's Adorable Knits for Tots. I used US 5 & 6 needles and 6 balls of Handknit DK in Rosy (#312) for the 2-3 year old size. While this sweater knit up quickly, I hated seaming it up. (However, the only seaming I even partially enjoy involves plain stockinette.) Only one more Lace Knit-along item waiting to be finished- the Spring Fling Cardigan.

Lovely sweater, and cute model!

What a lovely sweater Charlotte looks so grown- up. Bless!

what a pretty sweater! charlotte and joshua are so lucky to have a mom knit them goodies!

It's so cute--looks like C loves it!

Wow, seems like you're always making something new for the kids. I love the sweater! Of course I love Charlotte too! Give her a big kiss for me.

Beautiful sweater! You always knit the most beautiful things for your kidos.

What a sweet sweater for Charlotte!

The sweater came out beautiful! BTW, thanks for the ideas on the vest patterns. I think I'm going to purchase a book soon.

What a pretty color! I like it so much better than the pink they used in the book. It actually makes me like the sweater a lot more than I did from just looking at the photo in the book.

Darling sweater - and Charlotte is getting so big! She looks particularly old and cute here!

Also - I really like the Christmas sweaters you've chosen. They will be so nice and will probably be cherished by your kids forever! (well, at least Charlotte - boys don't seem to care as much about such things! ;)
