I've been busy organizing my yarn stash and uncovering a few buried projects that I'd like to go ahead and finish. The first of these is Charlotte's Red Cable & Moss Stitch Jacket from the Debbie Bliss Baby Knits book. I bought the yarn for this project two years ago and worked on it a little last summer. Now, after sitting in the basket for over two years, the back is finally finished.
Lucky for me, the largest size (18-24 months) will fit Charlotte still without any trouble. Thank goodness Debbie Bliss sizes her toddler jacket patterns big. (Remember Charlotte's other jacket from this book? It finally fits well enough that we don't have to roll up the sleeves.)
Yes, that's the 12-18 month size.
I love those two sweaters! (and look at that adorable model!) I've had the flower one in my wish2knit pile for ages. And the matching booties are to die for!
What a sweet little munchkin. I have wanted to knit that embroidered sweater, and now I have a little girl to knit it for! But first, the ruffled rib cardi from Debbie Bliss's Special Knits book. I'm a Debbie Bliss junkie, that's for sure.

Goodness! Debbie Bliss must have anticipated that a lot of us get side-tracked with our knitting so maybe that's why her sizes run so big? :P
DB must be considering room to grow, because I noticed that myself. You just reminded me to finish the smocked jacket I've got lying around...

Wow, what great projects! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Isn't it interesting when you have such large gaps? I sometimes have to think of who my first cousins are and who the next generation are. We have a large family so sometimes it's difficult to keep it all straight. . . keep breathing life into that stash, that is my goal as well in the next few months. Good luck!
