This project originated from the tank top pattern in Debbie Bliss's The Baby Knits Book. I changed it by adding stripes, making it about an inch longer, and using a v-neck rather than a crew neck. The yarn used was Debbie Bliss baby cashmerino in Indigo, Pale Yellow, and Ecru.

In a moment of knitting serindipity, I am also planning on making this same vest from The Baby Knits Book for a gift due in late September.
