From what we've heard so far, the latest hurricane is just going to bring us some wind and rain. We're actually leaving tomorrow morning to visit family in GA, so we should miss most of the bad weather.
It may have been due to the impending bad weather, but my first Alabama knitting meetup was a bust. No one else showed. Since it was at Barnes and Noble, I did get to check out the new Yarn Girls book for kid knitting. While none of the patterns blew me away, I found most everything in the book to be be a quick knit that my children would get a lot of wear out of.
So glad that you will be missing the hurricane. I thought of you when the news over here announced that parts of Alabama were to be evacuated.
