Joshua's doctor visit went really well today. When we left the hospital, he was down to 7 lbs 2 oz. In the last two days, he managed to get back up to 7 lb 6 oz. One ounce a day is considered good, so the doctor was really happy with his gain. (We're breastfeeding so the weight checks are one of our best methods for making sure he eats enough.)
There are more pictures on Joshua's site and also on the hospital's nursery site.

Christina, he is gorgeous!

And don't forget about counting wet diapers as another good sign that he's getting enough. Once his digestive system kicks into high gear the poopy ones will be helpful too. Remeber that green slimy can mean too much foremilk and the mustard/seedy ones are what you want him to have. :-D I never thought talking about poop could be so positive, LOL.

Beautiful pictures.
About the breast feeding, please don't get too caught up with weight and nappy contents ! The more relaxed you are the better he'll feed, and if you let him suckle as long as he wants you won't have to worry.Maybe that's where ''go with the flow'' originates !
I breast fed past two years and learnt early on to just feed on demand.
Hope you're all settling in and getting some rest.
