The February socks are done!
Yarn: Meilenweit Cotton socks
Needles: US 0
Pattern: Wendy's
These were for one of the ladies in my knitting group, and I'm happy to report that they fit and she likes them.
Sock Madness starts March 10th, so I'm waiting to cast on for more socks until then.

Charlotte's First Musical
Yesterday, Charlotte and I attended Huntsville High School's production of "Beauty and the Beast". With a budget of over $50,000, it was much more elaborate than any high school production I'd ever seen. The "Be Our Guest" scene was incredible with 68 dancers on stage at once. Charlotte thought it was too long, but loved meeting the characters in the lobby after.

Goodbye Crib
Joshua made the move to a toddler bed last night. After enjoying his new freedom late into the night, he fell asleep.
Luckily tonight was not as late.
There are still about 40 rows to go on the socks. All six strips are formed for the blanket, and now I've started joining.

Big E, Little e, What Begins With E?
There is a very cute alphabet blanket in the new Rowan Classic Mother and Baby, but for the life of me, I can't figure out what the E picture is. Any guesses?
Here's half of February's sock pair.
I'll have a lot of car time over the weekend, so I might be up to the heel on the next sock by the time I post again Sunday.

Jinkies!
The Scooby sweater is finished.
Pattern: Fitted Ribbed Sweater from Hollywood Knits
Yarn: 17 skeins of GGH Goa color #34
I ran out of yarn, so the neck is not as high as in the pattern. The yarn is a bulky cotton acrylic, so it's lightweight and warm. Now that January is finished, it's time to look ahead to this month's sweater.

Socks #1
Here's the first of 12 socks for the year.
Yarn: Regia Strato in Orion 5741
Pattern: Wendy's Generic Toe-up
The socks have blue and gray stripes, so I'm easing into Project Spectrum with this FO.

Snow Day
Winter finally arrived in the form of some overnight snow. Unfortunately, by morning it was just raining, so it didn't last long.

The schools were all open, so Charlotte just had a little time this morning to play before she went to preschool.
