Finally, a Finished V-neck Vest
This project originated from the tank top pattern in Debbie Bliss's The Baby Knits Book. I changed it by adding stripes, making it about an inch longer, and using a v-neck rather than a crew neck. The yarn used was Debbie Bliss baby cashmerino in Indigo, Pale Yellow, and Ecru.

Posted by: sedie at August 17, 2005 06:22 PMYou follow patterns like Cindy does! The sweater looks great and it looks like he's happy, too. (And how nice to get something done when you've had to re-work!)
Posted by: Shanti at August 17, 2005 08:02 PMThank you for your fabulous response to my toe-up sock question. In a moment of knitting serindipity, I am also planning on making this same vest from The Baby Knits Book for a gift due in late September. I even mapped out an orange chest stripe on a navy background for mine. Yours looks wonderful and gives me the confidence to carry on with my plan. Thanks again!
