Finally, a Finished V-neck Vest

This project originated from the tank top pattern in Debbie Bliss's The Baby Knits Book. I changed it by adding stripes, making it about an inch longer, and using a v-neck rather than a crew neck. The yarn used was Debbie Bliss baby cashmerino in Indigo, Pale Yellow, and Ecru.

You follow patterns like Cindy does! The sweater looks great and it looks like he's happy, too. (And how nice to get something done when you've had to re-work!)

Thank you for your fabulous response to my toe-up sock question. In a moment of knitting serindipity, I am also planning on making this same vest from The Baby Knits Book for a gift due in late September. I even mapped out an orange chest stripe on a navy background for mine. Yours looks wonderful and gives me the confidence to carry on with my plan. Thanks again!
