Argyle Vest

Here's Joshua in his finished vest.

The pattern is from the Debbie Bliss Special Knits. I made the 6-9 month size and used two balls of the baby cashmerino in Pale Yellow and one each in Indigo and Ecru.

Joshua is getting ready to crawl; he's pulling himself up and rocking back and forth.

Joshua also got his first haircut today.

Now that the Argyle vest is done; I'm starting on my contribution to the Baby Knit-along. I'm doing a variation on this pattern.

I made this top for Charlotte from the Debbie Bliss Baby Knits Book using Wool Cotton. For Joshua, I'm using baby cashmerino so I wanted to make a vest rather than a tank top. His version will be striped with a v-neck.

OMGosh that vest is adorable! And Joshua, well, he is even cuter! What a little sweetie!

Thanks for the suggestion on the Plum books! I'm finishing up Wicked and Harry Potter will be here on Saturday so I have enough for now, but as soon as Im looking for something new, I will check her stuff out for sure =)

And thanks for the support on the shoulder - I am trying to be patient, but I just wanna knit! (i'm such a whiner LOL)

The vest turned out really well - I like it a lot. The pictures of Joshua are very cute (of course!) and I like the haircut.
After seeing the old picture of Charlotte, I started looking at her 4-9 month pictures. Realized that Charlotte and Joshua have really different looks for the same age range. I guess it's face shape, and expressions. Not sure, but kind of fun to compare! :)

Joshua looks so happy to be in that vest! (I would be, too - it's great.)

With the finger in his mouth, Joshua looks like he is saying: "Look Mommy, I'm sure there must be a tooth back here too!" The vest is super and he looks so grown up in it, not to mention adorable!
