Laboring the Weekend Away

We had a very busy Labor Day weekend. I cleared out all of the questionable foliage from our front flowerbed and planted mums for the fall, while Michael assembled some computers. Charlotte of course helped with everything. Here's our nice and tidy flowerbed.

And while she wasn't helping Michael and me, Charlotte was very busy adding to my cleaning list.

She took all of the clean washcloths, and used them to cover up her baby for nap time. This was after she removed the clean towels from the bathroom, but before she emptied the tupperware drawer. I'm having a hard time keeping up.
We spent Monday at the Botanical Gardens for the last day of Waterworks. Charlotte had fun splashing around and visiting all of the butterflies. She even got to see the turtles that live in the butterfly house pond. (Normally they're hiding in the water, but this time there were two resting on a rock.)
We also visited the DMV this weekend to get our new licenses. I'm sad to say we are now officially Alabama residents. On a positive note, the wait time allowed me to finish some more blanket statement squares. Here are squares 13-17.

Never a dull moment with Char Char around, eh? What a cutie pie! Knitting, crocheting, gardening--what other talents are hiding up your sleeve? Have a wonderful weekend!

Can I just say that Knit Happens is just not the same without you and Charlotte. I have missed you this past week.

I am glad to see you are settling in so well - Charlotte is clearly quite at home :)

I love the header for your blog, btw, it says it all.
